We are moving!

new building

Big news....Formulary 55 is moving to Colorado!

Our wholesale business is booming and I've been needing a larger space to expand.  After some soul searching, research, and planning, I have bought a building in Pueblo, Colorado!  We just signed the papers today and I could not be more excited for this new adventure.

I'm sure you have a lot of questions & I'll try to answer them!

Q: Will you be closing your Seattle store?

A: Yes.  Effective immediately, the shop in Ravenna/Bryant will no longer be open regular hours.  I do expect to have 6-8 more open days before we move.  I will post on our Facebook page those days as I know them.  You can fan us here to keep up to date on that information.

Q: Where can I purchase your products after you leave?

A: Our on-line store is open 24/7 and I will be adding all the lines we sell in the physical location over the next few months.  We will also be keeping you up to date on physical retail shops in the area that stock our line.

Q: What if I have a gift certificate?  How will I use it?

A: Not to worry, we have plenty of options available.  #1 Spend it before we move. #2 Place your order online (you will have to call me to process the transaction with a certificate) #3 I can refund you the cost of the certificate if you don't think you can spend it before we close up here in Seattle.

Q: Will you be having a big closing sale with discounts?

A: No.  We will be having some open days with some items discounted (lines we are not moving forward with) but for the most part, nothing will be discounted.

Q: Will you be selling your fixtures?

A: No.  We will be setting up a showroom in Pueblo that looks almost exactly like our store now.

Q: How on earth can you leave Seattle?  It is awesome here!

A: I love Seattle and will miss it greatly but I also love adventure.  I'm so excited for this project and expansion.

Q: Pueblo?  Why Pueblo?

A: My sweets and I did a lot of research on towns with the lowest cost of living and a high quality of life.  Pueblo was on the list.  We visited, we liked it.

Q: I will really miss you.  Can I come visit?

A: YES!  We will be building a cool Airbnb room (here is our exiting one in Seattle) for guests to come stay.  I would love it if you came to visit Pueblo!  (it is my mission to make it the new hot spot!)

Thanks everyone for supporting handmade, Formulary 55, and my dream.  xoxo

Wowee! What an exciting adventure! We’ll miss you here in Seattle…but Colorado isn’t TOO far away! Thank goodness for the internet :) Wishing you a smooth move and all the best!

Thanks Marlo! I’m super excited. But of course also a bit sad to be leaving this wonderful place!

Congratulations! I wish you enormous success! I use “only” your soap. I tend to get stuck on certain products if I fall in love with them and I love your soaps! I will purchase your soaps at Le Objects home interiors in Georgetown and online if I need to also.

Thanks Jama! You know I’ll keep Timothy down at Le’Objects fully stocked! He is going to start carrying our new shea hand creme as well…watch for that in the shop mid-March.

Hi and welcome to Pueblo! You’ve picked a great town and I hope that more creative businesses follow your lead. Will you be hiring for any staff, either part time or full time when you get here? If so, I’d love to have an opportunity to send you my information. Thank you!
