GIFT/COUPON/DISCOUNT CODES: Occasionally Formulary 55 offers promotions through e-mails and advertisements. You will always receive free shipping on domestic merchandise orders over $100.
You may only use one promotion or gift code per order. All promotion codes are available for a limited time, while supplies last and cannot be use once expired.
(Please note that abuse or misuse of promotions and codes may result in order or item cancellation. In order to allow fair redemption and distribution of promotions to all of our customers, Formulary 55 may restrict redemption to one per customer.)
EMAIL: Entering your email during our checkout process DOES NOT add you to our mailing list. It does however add you to our shipping program which will allow you to receive shipping, tracking, and delivery updates.
SHIPPING: Our normal order processing time is 2 business days. During holidays and sales this can be extended up to 5 business days. We do not process orders on Saturdays or Sundays. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to placing your order that contains special shipping instructions as we might not be able to catch any errors after the order has been placed.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING: At this time we do not offer expedited shipping. We have been discouraged too many times by USPS and UPS not honoring their expedited shipping times and ultimately cannot guarantee shipping speed. We do however ship most order via USPS Priority Mail as our regular shipping service.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship anywhere in the world. Shipping charges are displayed in your currency. We only charge you what USPS charges us.
GIFT ORDERS: Orders that contain a different shipping and billing address will automatically contain a gift receipt. You may also add in a gift note at check out in the box marked "special instructions." This note will be printed directly on the gift receipt.
MISSING PACKAGE: If an item is showing as delivered by UPS or USPS but you have not received it, we will need additional information from you in order to file a claim. Without your assistance we are unable to replace orders that have been marked as "delivered" by UPS or USPS.
- Please wait 2-4 business days. Often times a carrier will mistakenly mark an order as delivered yet they still have it. When a package goes missing, 90% of the time it gets delivered a day or so AFTER the carrier says they delivered it.
- Ask your carrier where they left the package. Sometimes the USPS carriers will mark the order as delivered but have instead taken it back to the post office. This is unfortunate and very frustrating, be we are unable to ask your carrier or your post office for this information. You will need to assist us in finding the package in order for us to replace a missing package.
- If the previous steps do not locate a missing package please email email@example.com. Without your assistance on locating a missing package we will be unable to file a claim with the carrier. With your assistance we are able to file a claim and provide you with a replacement or refund. We do not provide a refund for missing packages unless you can provide us with the above information.
DAMAGE: Please snap us a photo of the damaged package within 3 days of order arriving. We insure all packages and will need to submit proof to the carrier to be reimbursed. All claims will be handled on our end and a replacement will be sent to you. We cannot replace damaged items without a photo to submit to our shippers.
INCORRECT ADDRESS: Our shipping program automatically downloads the address entered at checkout into our shipping program. Please double check that your address is entered correctly. We cannot refund orders for shipments sent to an incorrect address. If a misaddressed package is returned to us we will reach out for a correct address and invoice you for the cost of a second delivery charge.
I DON’T LIKE WHAT I ORDERED: We are happy to offer an exchange on unopened items for shop credit. Due to the nature of personal care products, we do not accept returns on opened or used items. Exchanges can be made up to 30 days after date of purchase. Please return items to:

Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. We do not refund shipping charges. If you would prefer us to send a call tag for the item, we will deduct the cost of postage from the credit owed to you. Credits will be issued when the goods arrive back to us.
SALE ITEMS: Discounted items are sold "as-is" and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Most often, our sale items that are at a 50% discount or higher are slightly damaged (or with shop worn packaging) and not appropriate for gift giving.
BATCH VARIATIONS: Keep in mind that our products are made by hand of natural ingredients. Our recipes remain the same, but plant material is ever changing. Slight differences can be found from batch to batch including color and texture.
REWARDS PROGRAM: The 55 Club is Formulary 55's loyalty program and our way of showing our appreciation. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn free products, so the more you collect the more you earn.
WHO CAN JOIN?: Anyone with an account (you must sign up for an account on www.formulary55.com) is automatically enrolled.
HOW DO I EARN POINTS?: You can earn points for all sorts of activities, including referring friends, and making purchases. To see all the ways you can earn points click the Earn Points tab in the menu.
HOW DO I VIEW MY POINTS BALANCE: Your point balance is on every page in the top bar.
HOW DO I REDEEM POINTS?: Select the tab called Redeem Points. Here you’ll see all the rewards we offer. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward. Please note, you can only use one code at a time. Our system does not accept more than one code in the coupon box, and will not be applied if you are also attempting to use a coupon code. Customers with rewards over 300 points can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to have rewards manually added to orders that have also been placed with a discount or coupon code.
Once you choose a reward, the points will be immediately deducted and cannot be added back to your account (unless you contact us at email@example.com) but all rewards will be saved in your account and can be redeemed at a future date.
The first time you click on "get reward" the item will be added to your cart. Use the code given to you in the GIFT CARD OR DISCOUNT CODE box for the cost of the item to be deducted. Item will not be free unless you use the code generated.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF POINTS I CAN EARN?: No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can! Points do expire within one year. We do not reinstate points that have expired.
WHAT DO THE 'APPROVED', 'PENDING' AND 'CANCELLED' STATUSES MEAN?
- Approved: These points can be redeemed on rewards immediately
- Pending: These points are need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to purchases and referrals
- Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled)
WHAT HAPPENS IF A FRIEND I REFER CANCELS OR RETURNS THEIR ORDER?: Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.
WHY DID MY ACCOUNT BALANCE GO DOWN?: You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase.
LEAVING THE PROGRAM: If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be unenrolled. We'll unenroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued. If you decide to re-enroll, your point total will begin from zero.

We reserve the right to remove members from the program for any reason including, but not limited to, abusing or "gaming" the points program, attempting to stack coupon and gift codes, and or complaints about the free gifts we offer.
