It's taken me over a month to look through my London shopping photos, but here they are!  We had a great visit over the Christmas holiday with no agenda except to walk, eat, and of course shop.  There are so many beautiful shops in London.  I especially love the stores that focus on just one item or brand (like Aesop) and concentrate on what they do best.  My favorites were a lovely little perfume shop called, Bloom, near the Spitalfields Market and all the Aesop shops scattered around the city.

The employees at Bloom were so friendly and informative.  Although I ended up buying French soap from them and not perfume.

Aesop products are hands down my favorites.  I bought so much I thought I was going to have to buy another suitcase.  Everything is plant based - scented with pure essential oils, and so luxurious.  I was surprised to learn the brand has been around since the 80's.  Their shops are displayed in the most creative ways and I had to check out all the different locations in London.  My Pinterest boards have been filled with their displays as inspiration for years so it was pretty exciting to see them in person.

Of course we had to stop in at Liberty of London.  I'd been a few years back and had been dreaming of it ever since.  It is a bath and body products lover's paradise.  I splurged on set of their cosmetic bags in the signature Liberty prints.

Between walking and shopping we stopped every day (sometimes twice a day) for coffee, tea, and cake.  It was a wonderful trip full of sweet smelling inspiration!
