shopping trip - London!
Aesop Shoreditch - photo formulary 55
It's taken me over a month to look through my London shopping photos, but here they are! We had a great visit over the Christmas holiday with no agenda except to walk, eat, and of course shop. There are so many beautiful shops in London. I especially love the stores that focus on just one item or brand (like Aesop) and concentrate on what they do best. My favorites were a lovely little perfume shop called, Bloom, near the Spitalfields Market and all the Aesop shops scattered around the city.
meet the maker - orchard farm
What makes Orchard Farm products different? The ingredients are truly home grown! Located in Moscow, Idaho this small acreage organic farm grows market veggies, herbal botanicals, a couple of kids, and a delightful line of all natural soaps. I met Kate, the owner of Orchard Farm, at Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago. She saw me struggling with getting my booth set up (Anthony missed his flight, my hand truck was no where to be found, my car was about 6 blocks away, I had boxes and boxes of product to get to my booth, it was raining, etc., etc.) and immediately offered assistance. An instant friend! It took me a couple of years to try her soaps, but when I did I loved them and knew my customers would as well.
meet the maker - oille natural
Austere aesthetic meets intelligence. Clinical Aromatherapist, Kirsten King, formulates organic and GC/MS tested essential oils into beauty serums. We love Oille Natural (pronounced "oy-elle nature") because of it's simple sleek packaging and amazingly effective formulas. Their facial serums are lightweight and breathable but heavy enough to improve the appearance of wrinkles and age spots. Our most popular item made by Oille Natural is hands down the hair serum which is popular with both men and women and smells amazing.
